The chipset on my non-ve is bt878. This website is very useful - http://home.t-online.de/home/gunther.mayer/bttv/bttv-gallery.html.

I wouldn't buy a ATI TV Wonder VE - the ve means no stereo sound and it is reported to have problems with btaudio - the non VE version has stereo sound and works flawless with btaudio.
