I just finished my new PVR box and planned to install freevo1.4 on it when that is released. Until then I though I simply transplant my existing freevo 1.3.4 installation from my old PVR box.
Along with the transplant I moved my Haupauge wintv PCI FM card (PAL). Now I am sure I have the same modules options and all, yet when I try and view TV I only see the image on the left hand side of the screen all compacted and there seems to be something funny going on with the interlacing as well. My hardware setup (next to the wintv) is: - via epia M100000 - 2 slot PCI riser (only one used) - LIRC adapter on serial2 - LCD on parallel port - 256M RAM - 80G Seagate Barracuda - TV as the monitor Software setup: - Redhat 9.0 - kernel 2.4.22 (self compiled) - ALSA 0.9.8 - VIA video drivers installed now the dmesg and logs suggest that all is well on the western front, yet the TV image is crappy as described. This probably is something really stupid but I am stuck on this issue for a couple of days now so I home someone can help me. cheers, Paul ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
