Is there a plan to fix Freevo severely degrading SDL playback? I asked about it awhile ago. When I play a file thru Freevo it uses the command:
./runtime/runapp --prior=-20 /usr/local/bin/mplayer -ac mad, -autosync 100 -nolirc -autoq 100 -ni -dr -double -framedrop -slave -ao alsa9 -cache 5000 -idx -v -vo fbdev /mnt/freevo/tv/11-11_12:00_Days_of_Our_Lives_-_.avi -vop scale=800:600
But when I use the command below on a plain command line it works perfectly:
mplayer -ac mad, -autosync 100 -nolirc -autoq 100 -ni -dr -double -framedrop -slave -ao alsa9 -cache 5000 -idx -v -vo fbdev /mnt/freevo/tv/11-11_12:00_Days_of_Our_Lives_-_.avi -vop scale=800:600
When I try to play a DVD that has encryption (even if it is legal in this area) then it quits out and won't let me play.
If I a trying to rip a cd with the cdbackup plugin, I get two problems. It won't let me rip from a SCSI cdrom (I hit rip but nothing happens, not even a error) but will with the ATAPI. When I rip with the ATAPI cdrom both CD's show that it is ripping so, I can't rip both at the same time.
Freevo doesnt seem to use the covers directory or clean up the data directories when you delete files.
I think that's all I have for now..
I am running two boxes: Slackware 9.1 Kernel linux-2.4.22 Freevo 1.4rc1 800mhz with 128 SB live - Alsa9 Voodoo3 - SDL
Slackware 9.0 Kernel linux-2.4.20 Freevo 1.4rc 1 1.2ghz with 128 SB16 - oss Hollywood Plus Version 1 - dxr3
