Side Note: I have two freevo boxes both with a DVD drive and a CDROM drive. I can only rip with the DVD drive in my first Freevo box, the CDROM won't rip. In the other Freevo box neither the DVD or the CDROM will rip (although it does create the directories). Is there something I am missing, When I click the rip option, the CD-icon in the idlebar shows the ripping icon but then quickly disapears and the drive never starts. Am I missing something? I don't see anything in the log files.

Do you have it enabled, and is there an Amazon key in it?

That worked for the CD ripper but the cover search option doesn't even show up when I autoboot only when I login as root then start freevo.
Thanks

I had a similar problem, but only with cdbackup. I solved it (with help
from this list) by the followin steps:
When you are logged in (as root), list your path: echo $PATH Add the result to your rc.local: export PATH='result from echo $PATH'

export USER=root cd /usr/local/freevo ./freevo webserver start & ./freevo recordserver start & ./freevo cache & ./freevo start &
If I start up the Slackware box, log in with root then goto /usr/local/freevo and type ./freevo start then both the cdbackup and coversearch work. Any suggestions?
