When toying with my movie-data directory, sometimes freevo fails to load. For instance, after copying some backuped fxds and cover images to the directory freevo will not load. After killing freevo (and runtime processes) and mv(ing) the directory so that it is not available, freevo loads. However, after mv(ing) the directory back, going to bed, waking up in the morning, and reloading freevo, it loads just fine under the exact same cirumstances has the instance that it didn't load.
Next, when searching for imdb info, I get an error. In the main log, there is the repeated message "Found it" like a hundred times in a row.
Also, after reading what I thought was all the new features of 1.4rc4, I failed to notice once citing automatic downloading of xmltv data. Was there a feature annoucement? I was just surprised that this happened the first time I loaded tv guide since I don't have cron job for tv_grab_na. Please point me in the right direction for the documentation 'bout this new feature and what is going on?
Next, after loading the tv guide and selecting a channel (i am using tv time), I am unable to control tvtime or freevo - no keyboard strokes do anything 'cept pressing numpad #5 which puts the tvtime OSD on/off the screen. Mplayer keyboard commands etc work just fine while playing music and watching movies, but what is exactly going on here. I have read a number of posts 'bout remapping keypresses and whatnot, but how exacty does this work. Does freevo pass keyboard events to the apps? Or are the apps completely independant?
LCD plugin works great and looks great (it would be even greater to have a progess bar).
Progess bars work excellent and add an element to freevo that was previously missed.
Thanks for all the wonderful development on Freevo; I wow my friends everytime they come over with my freevo-box.
