Did you install the RPM or tgz? If you install the freevo rpm, you need to
have installed the dependency packages as well (check in freevo-deps.txt
on the SF download page).

I haven't tried running freevo on SuSE 9.0. Does it use python 2.2 or 2.3?
Freevo RPM packages were compiled for 2.2, it won't be recognized for 2.3
without rebuilding various rpm packages (using the source rpm packages).

You need to copy the local_conf.py.example to /etc/freevo/local_conf.py,
and edit it to suit your requirements.
