It looks all right to me (And I've made about all possible mistakes on that one!). Do the logs say anything? If not use a higher DEBUG setting.
The game menu is supposed to "come on" as soon as DIR_GAMES is set to something (I think). I have several ROMS in my atari folder, yet I don't see any games menu. Is it supposed to show up in the root folder with movies, images, music?
