I got a decent usb joypad from compgeeks for cheap. THe only thing I have noticed with usb gamepads is that the up/down/left/right thumb pad isn't always guarenteed to be on the first set of axises. I had to use the keyboard and hit tab to map all the player controls. Buttons worked fine tho the order they were mapped wasn't obvious. > 2.)
