Hi, I'm having some trouble getting the sound to work with the recording right. I can watch tv with sound with no problem (although it sounds like the gain is up to much, but that's another problem) but when I'm recording I get no sound in the recording. I played with it a little bit and now I get the sound coming out of my speakers when I'm recording, which is quite a lot more annoying. And the recorded video file still has no sound.
I'm pretty new to this whole tv input thing, so I might be missing something fairly simple. I haven't changed the default settings much other than to uncomment the VCR_CMD lines and put in my devices. The sound is coming in on line1, not mic if that makes any difference. I would imagine it would, but I couldn't figure out any options in mencode that specify where the input comes from.
