Hello everybody,

I'm new to freevo and I really want to thank all Developers for this
amazing
Program. It really made a Dream come true for me. I successfully installed
Freevo 1.4rc4. The configuration of my System follows at the end if someone
is interested.

I hope someone can help me with my MAME-Setup. I put the following into the
local_conf:

DIR_GAMES = [ ('MAME', '/home/freevo/game/mame/roms', \
              ('MAME', '/home/freevo/.mamebin/xmame.xgl', '-fullscreen \
                -modenumber 6', '/home/freevo/game/mame/pics', None)) ]

But I don't get an Game Entry in the Menu. There are no errors while
starting
that could help me solve the problem. I know that there is a statement in
the
Documentation that says it is my problem if it doesn't work :-) But since
I'm
new to freevo I'm a really skilled Linuxuser and I can't see the Problem. I
tripplechecked for Typos. Unfortunately the Mailing List at Sourceforge
doesn't seem to be searchable (please give me a hint if I missed
something).
Now I hope, that someone can help me.

The other thing I'd like to ask is, if I can switch to Overscan from
Freevo. I
know I can do it with nvtv. But it would be nice if it works with Freevo
also.

Here are the specs of my new wonderful HTPC-System:

- AMD Duron 1 GHz
- 512 MB SD-RAM
- 380 GB Logical Volume for Freevo
- Samsung DVD-Rom
- Win TV Radio (with RC)
- Logitech WigMan Cordless (WinTV RC also switches my TV ;-)
- SilentMAXX ST-11 Midi-Tower (black) with SilentMAXX Fans and Power Supply
- Creative Audigy2
- Dolby Digital Amplifier (Yamaha)
- Canton Fonum Series
- 72cm Philips TV
- Debian Testing

Again thank you for making my dream come true....

Marcel
