I've had that problem when using s-video+sound -> SCART on an old TV without S-video in. I finally managed to use another SCART converter which gave me color, but no sound :-)= So it's more than likely no freevo/v4l problem, but a cable/contact problem

The tv option only works in black and white, i tryed to change on the freevo.conf file the tv system from ntsc to pal-m and it didn't worked also, then i tryed palm but it did not work too, the tv only works on black and white. If i open tvtime outside freevo the pal-m color works fine, and i can see color tv. Can someone help me?
