This most certianly needs to be posted in the Wiki's HOWTO and in the section about setting up xmltv... Freevo needs someone to keep the documentation up to date as many here dont have the time or knowledge to make changes to the Wiki.

No, if they are scheduled to record they will show up. How are you updating your listings? If you use the tv_grab helper then it should schedule your favorites automaticly.
