Ok, I tried it. It surely doesn't segfaults anymore, and detects the varius 
titles just well. I'm not able to play the main movie anymore, if I not 
specifically select a title from the title list. Selecting the main DVD icon 
results in a window opening briefly, and the I'm back to freevo. Is this 
expected?
Also, selecting xine as the prefered player, I'm unable to see the dvd at all, 
but I don't know if this runtime is suitable for CVS...
