It never crashed with the runtime 0.1 after runtime 0.3 untarred on top of it for me. I have one box running at home that has been stable except for the btaudio going crazy once in a while.
Ok, it just looked like that dxr3 was getting dropped with the runtime leaving out things and now 1.4.1 missing the dxr3 export that was there in 1.4.. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Dirk Meyer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, December 22, 2003 9:28 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Freevo-users] Re: Problem with runtime 0.3 "Gray, Tim" wrote: > so freevo has officially dropped support for the dxr3 then? No. The python part of Freevo still supports the DXR3. Only the runtime does not. Building a runtime by yourself (== compiling every lib or use the rpms/debs/whatever) gives you full DXR3 support. Since the DXR3 patch requires some dynamic loading, this crashes with the runtime (except you have the same distro Rob has, when build the runtime). Dischi -- Paranoid Club meeting this Friday.
