Hi matt,
I had the same problem with a earlier version of freevo, maybe you should
upgrade to 1.4.1 ? I see you are using 1.4rc4 , that's not the weapon of
choice ;)

Betreff: [Freevo-users] Double Process Problem

About half the time I start freevo, it will hang half way through the
startup process ("Starting Freevo, please wait ...").

Running ps gives me two main.py freevo entries -->
freevo 3094 3048 21 17:41 pts/1 00:00:02 ./runtime/dll/freevo_loader
./runtime/apps/freevo_python -OO /home/freevo/freevo-1.4rc4/src/main.py
freevo 3102 3094 0 17:41 pts/1 00:00:00 ./runtime/dll/freevo_loader
./runtime/apps/freevo_python -OO /home/freevo/freevo-1.4rc4/src/main.py

If I kill the later, freevo then starts up just fine. Does anyone no what
this problem is about? Do you need a log file for proper diagnosis?

Thanks,

Matt
