I use Gento 1.4 with freevo 1.4.1 on a Celeron 700 with a ATI rage Pro (Mach 64) on a TV.
Ati card automatically switch to TV mode (15 Khz / 60 Hz) when no vga monitor is plugged and the TV OUT is plugged to a TV. So when I switch on my computer, I see bios setting, lilo and linux fbdev console on the tv without any particular setting. But when I launch freevo, the output frequency are changed (probably to VGA) and my TV can't display anything ! :( So why freevo change the frequency ? I tell it to use fbdev, so I dont understand...
