I'm a little bit stumped on where to look for more info, So I'm hoping someone here might be able to help..
I'm using gentoo. I've tried both the gentoo soruces of 2.6.1 and the stock 2.6.1 kernel from www.kernel.org. When I try to use matroxfb compiles for tv-out support, I'm getting a kernel panic just after it mounts the second head on fb1. Has anyone else experienced this? I've compiled it a coupla times to check. I'm sorry I don't have more info as i'm not sitting next to it anymore.. Anyone know how to grab kernel panic info? I heard a rumour the new matrox code is bropken by ACPI, so i removed ACPI to no effect, then I removed PM all together with still no fix. I'm sure its not the card as if works fine with vesafb..
