Yes, but this is truncated by your display width..  my problem is that my
bttv card has _extremely_ high color strangth resulting in very ugly tv
input.

I'm trying to find a way of altering the command freevo uses to call
mplayer, and though I'd start by findout what this command is..  Which is
where I am stuck..

I'm sure it used to log to main-0..

ps -ef while watching tv will quickly reveal which app freevo launches.
The default is mplayer -tv, but you can configure it for tvtime by
loading the tvtime plugin and modding the local_conf.py.
