Shure, you can do that, you just have to enter some dummy data for the channels, like "XX" ...

(but I have a TV connected a hollywod+ cart) Its just more comfortable then the TV's teletext menu. I have succesfully installed(and configured) xmltv, I have grabbed my TV listings in /tmp/TV.xml file. (its still complete, because i have the closed </tv> tag, and 650kB). I have filled in my /etc/freevo/local_conf.py, and probably without errors. But I dont have TV carte, so I cant fill, which channel is correct(E1, E2, ...E15, etc ). I will use just 'Watch TV->TV GUIDES' menu all others are (for my case) unnecessary. But in this menu(TV GUIDES) I have only 'This channel have no data loaded' string and not the TV programme. Is it possible to use XMLTV+freevo without a TV cart? To Justin: thx for the modules option in em8300, I had a rev 01 hollywood+ cart. Best regards, Khiraly ps: My TV listings: TV_CHANNELS = [('001.port.hu', 'mtv', 'E1'), ('002.port.hu', 'm2', 'E2'), ('003.port.hu', 'TV2', 'E3'), ('005.port.hu', 'RTL Klub', 'E4'), ('006.port.hu', 'Duna Televzi', 'E5'), ('010.port.hu', 'hrTV', 'E6', ('1234567','0600','1659')), ('013.port.hu', 'Budapest TV', 'E7'), ('021.port.hu', 'VIASAT3', 'E8'), ('023.port.hu', 'TV5', 'E9'), ('091.port.hu', 'Cartoon', 'E10'), ('097.port.hu', 'Club', 'E11'), ('011.port.hu', 'VIVA', 'E12')] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
