Hello all, I have installed freevo fine and it is playing all kinds of files very well except DVDs. When i try to play a DVD the screen goes black and then it goes back to the movies menu. I use freevo in full screen mode, my video board is a gforce2 (nvidia) with the default xfree4.3 driver and nvtv sending the image to a tv (i use nvtv because of the overscan). When i run both mplayer and xine outside freevo (directly from x) i can see DVDs fine, so it is not a problem with mplayer nor xine, the problem is with freevo DVD playing command. I use Slackware9.1 and i installed freevo with the install.sh script. Thanks very much for the help. By the way, xv is working fine with my video card (i think) :-) Cyro
