[Freevo-users] Trying to use an xmltv file with UTF-8 encoding

Hi all,
 I am using 1.5-rc3 on a gentoo machine, kernel 2.6.5
with kde.

 I have successfully create an xmltv listing for my
country. It uses the following format (I hope you can
see the special, UTF8, characters):

<programme start="20040612111500 +0300"
channel="25.tv.walla.co.il">
<title lang="he_IL.UTF8">&#1502;&#1512;&#1493;&#1509;
&#1502;&#1499;&#1493;&#1504;&#1497;&#1493;&#1514; -
&#1488;&#1490;&#1491;&#1493;&#1514; &#1500;&#1492;
&#1502;&#1488;&#1503;</title>
<category lang="en">sport</category>
</programme>

But all I get in the tv guide is gibberish.

Can anyone help me please?

(I tried using FREEVO_LOCALE and the LOCALE entry in
local_conf.py file, nothing helps),
