I'm trying to get DirectFB working with my G400 dual head card. As far as I can tell, nobody I've seen has had the same precise problem.
I used these directions, following them to the letter: http://www.sci.fi/~syrjala/directfb/matrox-tv-out-howto But when I run mplayer (mplayer -vo dfbmga whatever.avi) I get this error: (*) parsing config file '/etc/directfbrc'. ---------------------- DirectFB v0.9.20 --------------------- (c) 2000-2002 convergence integrated media GmbH (c) 2002-2003 convergence GmbH ----------------------------------------------------------- (*) Multi Application Core.
