I have all the SDL_ environment variables set: SDL_VIDEODRIVER=directfb SDL_DIRECTFB_MGA_CRTC2=1 SDL_DIRECTFB_MGA_STRETCH=1 SDL_DIRECTFB_MGA_OVERSCAN=1
The problem I find with using dfbmga is that (at least for now) the output is all sent to the second head on the G450. This will be fine eventually, but right now, I don't have a TV hooked up to the second head, so I was just using 'directfb' so that all the output was sent to the first head (my monitor). I did try the "OSD_STOP_WHEN_PLAYING = 1" setting though, and this did seem to fix my problem. I have not yet applied the patch you attached to one of your emails, but I now have "display = directfb" and mplayer is working fine for playing movies. Thanks for the speedy reply, and keep up the excellent work! --Robert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob Shortt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, July 08, 2004 4:40 AM Subject: Re: [Freevo-users] Same display = directfb problem > > Ok, I'm still half asleep and keep forgetting to type things.
