Like you two I am looking to setup a DVB-T box.  I am in the UK however.
Can you point me in the direction of a good howto on the subject as docs for
DVB seem to be limited to say the least (unless I'm missing something!)

Any help gratefully received.

500 MHz may be not enough. Since DVB-T is similar to DVD, try watching
a DVD with the PC. If it doesn't have a DVD-ROM, create a dump with a
machine who has.
