So, is it some html wrapper that controls xmms for the song title??

example:
http://radio1190ogg.colorado.edu:8000/mid.ogg
with xmms will show the title.

Ogg streams contain metadata as part of the stream itself.

Basically the player keeps track of a bitstream number, and when it sees a
new bitstream, it will read the vorbis comments from the stream.
