The metadata is linked to the unique(!!!) id time + label. It's impossible to create two discs at the same time with the same label IF THE TOOL WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD. But there is help: set MMPYTHON_CREATE_MD5_ID = 1 in your local_conf.py. The current metadata will became invalid and the unique id as a md5 of the first byte of the disc.
