(I haven't used Freevo on a widescreen tv yet, so I'm not sure what it looks like)
I'm using a widescreen TV for Freevo. It has the normal widescreen behaviour for 4:3 source material: the image is stretched horizontally. So a square looks like a rectangle and a circle like an eplipse.
