Hi.

Well, I must admit, my freevo is not fully installed after a month and it is really frustrating. My fault - I bought a nice, great looking case however the devices integrated on the MOBO  are so new that they are not fully supported yet. So I went through all kinds of hell with every single piece of HW I have - starting with LAN card, then WiFi then ... oh, ATI Radeon, geeez! TV-OUT, argh!!! But I would like to ask you about DVB-T support. This is my first multimedia/"desktop" install in Linux so consider me n00b in this field. I am so happy you don't need all this stuff to get Apache/Samba/Postfix and other server software running :) that is sooo easy compared to all this :)

Anyway. I can't make my DVB-T card working under Video4Linux. The devices /dev/video0 neither /dev/video/video0 are not created. I loaded the modules, scanned the channels, can do TZAP <channel> and then watch the TV in "mplayer -v /dev/dvb/dvr0". But V4L devices are not created..

I know this is pretty much common card and should be able to figure it out myself but most probably am already blind to read even correct informations. So here are my stupid questions:
a) should be the V4L devices created at all with this card?
b) should not be there more under
/dev/dvb/adapter0/ ?
c) what modules should I load/what should I do to get the V4L devices created?

I am really tired, spent many sleepless nights during last month after I get home from work. My girlfriend starts to hate me and she hates freevo already no matter how good PR I do ;) So, please, if anyone could help, save me and my freevo at home :)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Frustrated and tired
Dale
