Hello everybody, I've installed and configured Freevo just about to my liking, but I'm having a few problems that are keeping me from getting finished. I'm running Freevo 1.5.0 on Fedora Core 2.
The first issue is with mplayer. When I start playing a movie, the keyboard uses mplayer's mappings, not Freevo's (ie: the + key changes the A/V delay not the volume). Any idea how I can make it use the Freevo mappings? Second, I'm having problems with audio listings. For some reason when I build the cache using "freevo cache" it will start to sort some directories by the Track Number ID3 tag of the MP3s. This is pretty wierd and I haven't seen any way to stop it from happening except to delete the entire cache. Any ideas here? Along these same lines, is the variable DIRECTORY_AUDIO_FORMAT_STRING actually used by Freevo? No matter what I set it to it never changes how it lists the songs. I'm using a modified version of the local_conf.py.example which I placed in /etc/freevo. It's the only file with the name local_conf.py on my system. I'd appreciate any help!
