And another distro, that means, possibly, other python libraries... Nothing in /var/log/messages? That could be an Oops too. Running stable here (when at all running - sometimes it crashes on start). And I still have no idea how to start recording. I mean, I tried with freevo menu and with the browser, the recordserver is running. But nothing seems to be recorded. I just wanted to start a recording manually of what is currently received and stop it, say, 5 minutes later...
