I have a couple at work, one ARM and one Transmeta. The ARM doesn't have a lot 
of processing power as it was designed for low power applications so you 
might not get the performance you want. However, it's worth trying and it 
should handle music at least. You should take a look at 
http://www.netwinder.org and update your Netwinder.
