Can anyone help me understand how freevo communicates channel changes to tvtime? I have both freevo and tvtime working independently. I can change channels fine in tvtime and my console from freevo shows it changing channels as it should from keyboard input.
Problem is, tvtime is apparently not receiving the signals to change channels, so somehow I've got to get tvtime to recognize and respond to the requests from freevo. Everything else (xmltv, sound, movies) is working fine, but I can't record or watch tv through freevo because freevo isn't taking control of channels. Mplayer isn't working at all for me as a freevo plugin. I've looked at the python scripts that control tvtime, and I see a lot of stuff in there about channels, but I'm not a programmer, and I don't think I will do much good mucking around there.
