My 16:9 setup appears to work quite well. I have made the following modifications; 1) As I use X, I have configured XFree86Config-4 with a 16:9 resolution - In my case 720x400 for TV-Out. (If you have an Nvidia card you could use nvtv as well, just choose a 16:9 res) 2) Modify /home/user/freevo/.mplayer/config with monitoraspect=16:9 3) Use the same resolution for freevo (/etc/freevo/freevo.conf) as you do in XFree86. 4) I use mplayer as the default player, and Xine only for playing DVD's. This setup works perfectly for me. 4:3 movies are displayed correctly in the centre of the screen, widescreen movies take up the whole screen and my pictures and album covers are not warped. -Justin -- Justin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by Microsoft Mobile & Embedded DevCon 2005 Attend MEDC 2005 May 9-12 in Vegas.
