I have this working now. Before, I was booting in to KDE, and then running
freevo from the shell. When I don't boot in to KDE, and then run freevo with
the -fs argument (is this what is called framebuffer mode?), then mplayer
works fine. Was I wrong in assuming that it should work when run from a
promt in KDE?
Thank you for your repsonse, unfortunately, it didn"t work. Any other
thoughts? I am relatively new to Linux, so it very well could be something
simple.
