There is a vcr mode that is supported by the tv time plugin. You have to
activate the tv_line_in plugin and it will use the vcr mode of the
tvtime plugin. It will expect the sound to be coming from mic in.
this will show in the menu after you select tv as view line in, I
believe. This should also work with mplayer as well.
so add to local_conf.py:
plugin.activate('tv.view_line_in')
