I'm going to spend a weekend soon building up an old computer into an anaconda build workstation.
I could use some help in this so please drop me a line privately if you are familiar with fedora core, rpm and freevo. My aim will be to build a fedora core custom install CD with custom artwork, on a single CD! I have built custom distro's before out of redhat 7.3 and i got part the way through doing it for 8, I don't get a lot of time to work on projects like this so please anyone who is interested in giving me a hand your help will be much appreciated. To achieve this a package list must be built and approved, then accumulated updated as necessary and then built using the anaconda tools into a distribution. some links for the interested parties. http://fedora.redhat.com/projects/anaconda-installer/ http://www.sd.no-ip.biz/code/aurora/ http://tunelinux.pe.kr/wikix/file/Tip/redhat-installer-howto.htm http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Anaconda Regards, Karl On Fri, 2005-05-27 at 13:41 +0100, Karl Lattimer wrote: > You can get CF cards upto 8GB now, what about using a card of that size > instead and doing a CD install, we're thinking anaconda because rpm/yum > make it easy. > > Can you take a digital photo of your case?
