yes, the time for the scan is in the normal range (at least on my system it also takes at least one hour). tv_grab_de_tvtoday is written in perl, so no need to compile. ;) > My third alternative would have been NextEPG. I guess it is not much faster than tv_grab. But you don't need a working internet connection, so this might be the better option if you have an analog tv card.
