Hi. I'm using a Debian AMD64 (unstable) machine with kernel 2.6.12-rc4. I've downloaded and (I think) successfully installed mmpython (at /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/mmpython/). Still, when I try to install freevo, it tells me I don't have mmpython installed:
checking for mmpython... not found please download it from http://www.sf.net/projects/mmpython and install it What could the problem be? Does it have something to do with being on a pure 64 bit setup? I saw there was a previous posting about a similar problem, but her problem (I believe) ended up being that mmpython was installed in /usr/lib64 instead of /usr/lib. Any help would be much appreciated.
