Maybe the user has no permission to read or mount the drive? You
should have 'user' (or was it 'users'?) in your fstab and read access
for the user of /dev/dvd or /dev/cdrom or whatever.

It should be in the freevo package. Check the plugins dir of Freevo.

Yes, that could be possible with Freevo 2.0 and external plugins. It
is possible to control Freevo cvs from the outside.

I know people with 2 year olds and they can use Freevo (the 2 year
olds I mean). Freevo has a great WAF (Womans Acceptens Factor).
