Forgot to tell that, but I have also tried that. And I'm not running a 
firewall/iptables filter.



Ow yeah, I'm running FreeVO 1.5.3 on Debian Sarge. Kernel 2.6.12.4 and I'm 
using the SAA7134 chipset to view TV on, not really relevant, because I think 
it's not the command for recording, but just the record server itself.
