Hi. Some time ago, while talking about timeshifting, somebody said that what he did was start recording the show he wanted to watch. Then, instead of watching it with tv, he saw the recording, having timeshifting this way. I've tried it. In some cases, the playback ends as if it wasn't being recorded anymore. I mean, you start playback 10 seconds after you start recording, and you can see only 10 seconds. Start again, and you have only 20 seconds, and so on. Other times, it works, and I can see all the show, as it is being recorded. What is happening? Should it always work, or is there some trick I'm missing? Perhaps some buffer issue? Does anybody else do this?
