Hi. I use the mplayer plugin to watch tv, using a bt8x8 card. The image is a bit too bright, but I've seen that I can add a bright:xx option to mplayer, and some others. But I don't know how to set up the proper values. I could start trying over and over, but it's too painful. I can also use the numbers from 1 to 8, but even if I manage to get a good picture, I don't know how to get the desired values. I'd like to know whether there is some tool to know this, in the same way that xvidtune gives you the modeline to match the image to the screen. Any idea?
