I have the same problem... the hue is always in the "middle" and if I adjust it to one end or the other then it is "correct."
I was wondering if anyone has had problems getting df_xine to output anything but DVD-sized video properly. any video I feed it HAS to be 720x480 or else it plays just the audio and there is no video. Visualizations show when playing audio files, but they are corrupted and not displayed properly.
