Hello everybody !
First of all I would like to say that freevo rocks ! I like the looks of it,
the fact that is designed as a framework and that is written in a high level
scripting language which makes it easy to change things.
Now the questions:
1. When I run 'freevo cache' it doesn't seem to complete. It does go through
all the mp3's/movies but after that the only thing that I get is
------------------------------------------------------
checking thumbnails...................................
------------------------------------------------------
and then I get the shell prompt. It looks like freevo silently crashes without
completing all the caching. Any ideas why this is happening ?
2. After running 'freevo cache' it still takes about 2-3 minutes to 'cd' to a
directory that has a lot of items. Is this the expected behavior or is a side
effect of the previous issue ? If this is a known issue is there any plan to
fix it in 2.0 ?
3. If I define an images directory with some images then the size of the
cache gets pretty big (10's of megs) when those images are cached. Is this the
way it should be or I am doing something wrong ?
Thanks for the help,
remus
Hi Remus,
I'll reply to this one so we can keep our threading right :) Not sure if
this will yield any more info but set debug=1 and childapp_debug=1 in
your local_conf.py (you might need to check the childapp syntax in the
wiki). Post the results back here.
