you have to use as third value the name of the channel as known by
mencoder and mplayer.
I've not so well understood how freevo and the tv_channels section
works, but with this setup works flawlessy.
in my freevo config file:
TV_CHANNELS = [('Rai Uno','Rai 1', 'rai1'), ......
the first value is for xmltv, the second is for freevo as display name.
the third value is a channel name recognized by mencoder: the cmd I
use to record from analog tv is:
'mencoder -tv
driver=v4l2:channels="23-rai1,27-rai2,50-rai3,41-rete4,45-canale5,48-italia1,64-la7,61-mtv,40-reteA":width=640:height=480:norm=PAL
-ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1200:keyint=30 -oac mp3lame
-lameopts br=128:cbr -vf lavcdeint -ffourcc divx -o %(filename)s
tv://%(channel)s
You don't need the frequencies in TV_CHANNELS because for live tv
tvtime use his channel settings, stored in .tvtime/stationlist.xml.
