No, xine will be used and the data is streamed from the tvserver to
xine. Looks like the tvserver is not running.

Yes, in 2.0 it is very simple to set up channels and all this
stuff. But right now there is only a svn with many todo items. The
current tv part is a proof of concept, there is a reason why there is
no 2.0pre1 yet.

To summarize: people who want to try 2.0 should a) subscribe to the
devel list to get update information what changed and b) maybe also
subscribe to the cvslog list and c) should be able to read and
understand Python code. Freevo svn is not for and users!
