OK, so here is the problem: I have a Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 Expert. I can make it work in tv time - I have the sound and image more or less perfect. Now I am trying to make it work with mencoder. With tvtime the sound is OK under PAL-DK which is strange, because in Poland what usually works is PAL-BG.
Anyway - if I configure freevo/mencoder to be using v4l, channel=1, then I am getting video, but audio is just a constant noise (like I was using a bad audio standard, wrong PAL). However, this is completely insensitive to any changes in PAL standard. If I put v4l2, then the situation is reverse - I get perfect audio, however, a black screen - no video. Has anyone successfully configured this card with freevo? I am beginning to go crazy trying to set this up. Thanks Jan PS.
