Hi. I use the commands for tvtime-command in order to change channels;
AFAIK if you want to let freevo change natively the channels you've to
setup every frequence in the config file. it's explained in the
local_conf.py .
If you want to use tvtime-command you can do it with irexec.

I think that the problem is related with the xmltv file. check if your
xmltv file contains the time string in the right format. for example,
<programme start="20060203133000 +0100" stop="20060203134000 +0100" channel="w
ww.canale5.com">
<title lang="it">SECONDO VOI</title>
</programme>
I have the "+100" timezone (like you); perhaps your xmltv grabber
don't set the timezone and then it's interpreted as GMT.
