Hi Henrik,

How do you receive tv? DVB, analog, ivtv ...? What program do you use for watching tv? Is it just a problem with live tv, or although with recorded stuff or even DVDs?

Im using mplayer for watching tv, and its the analog broadcast i have trouble with, the dvb-t syncs ok. The recordings works well, so its not a big problem, just that it would be nice to watch tv through the freevo box, the program guide is so nice.

I had a similar problem, when I watched live tv from my dvb-t card with mplayer. In the first minute the sound was always slightly out of sync. It helped to increase the cache value for tv and mplayer in local_conf.py. But that prolonged the time to switch programs.
Thus I changed to xine for watching tv.

Xine is nice, but it dont seem to support analog tv.

But mostly I am watching recorded stuff anyway, so live tv was not that important to me.

Im in the same thoughts...

Greetings
Tanja

Thanks a lot!
