[Freevo-users] Freevo in 16:9

Is there a way to switch Freevo to a 16:9 aspect ratio? Mplayer does this miraculously easy, by just setting monitoraspect=16:9, but I would like to accomplish the same in Freevo. Pictures etc look very stretched when I play them on a wide-screen TV... Thanks for your help in advance!
